chem distinguish test question
1-methylcyclohexanol 同3-methylcyclohaxanol可分用咩test黎分辨?同埋distinguish alkane and alkene既test可ng可以用落distinguish cyclohexane &cyclohexene度?(eg:add Br2 in CCl4) 1. Add ZnCl2/conc HCl into the liquid.
1-methylcyclohexanol gives white ppt immediately while 3-methylcyclohaxanol gives white ppt after several minutes.(This test can be used to test distingish 1 degree, 2 degree and 3 degree alcohol)
