樓主所指的係Dual core CPU，還是真真正正2粒CPU？
Windows 係用插槽數計CPU數目，所以Windows XP home edition 雖然只support一粒CPU，但亦可以用Dual core的CPU。(因只用一插槽)

睇落樓主似係話兩粒.
但係我記得Windows係support 2 CPUs既..
係價錢唔知同普通版本一唔一樣..

主要問題係license 點計
聞說 license 係按core 計(server garde)

I said 2 CPUs and not dual core CPU.

XP Pro可支援最多兩粒cpu, XP Home只支援一粒cpu.

You are correct.

According to Microsoft.com,

Windows XP Home Edition supports:
PC with 300 megahertz (MHz) or higher processor clock speed recommended; 233-MHz minimum required;* Intel Pentium/Celeron family, AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible processor recommended

Windows XP Professional Edition supports:
