Proposal for rearranging LRT 610/614/615

1. Introduction
As LRT routes 610,614 and 615 have run for a long time and have common stops along their routes in Yuen Long, unstable frequencies always happen. So, the following suggestions are proposed to provide a better frequency for these 3 routes.
2. Suggestions for LRT 610
It is suggested this route to remain its original route as it is a key mean of transport to Tuen Mun Hospital. If the route is cancelled or diverted so it does NOT pass through Tuen Mun Hospital, the residents will be less convenient to go to the hospital.
Suggested no. of trains: 14 for peak hours and 12 for non-peak hours
Suggested frequency: 6 min (peak hours), 7 min (non-peak hours). It can minimise the waiting time of passengers after doing joint frequencies with 614, which will be mentioned later.
3. Suggestions for LRT 614
As there are routes 507 and 614P(will change number to 514) from Tuen Mun Ferry Pier to Town Centre, and the route is the key mean of transport in southern Tuen Mun, I suggest shortening the route to Sam Shing instead of cancelling it entirely. The joint frequencies with 514 will still remain, in which the joint frequency will be added to 3-5 mins to enhance convenience in Tuen Mun South.
Suggested no. of trains: 10
Suggested frequency: 7 min. The joint frequencies with 610 will be every 3.5 mins and such with 514 will be enhanced to 4 mins on average.
4. Suggestions for LRT 615
As there are routes 505 and 615P (sometimes also 610) serving the region that 615 serves and few people take the route, I suggest that the route should be cancelled. The 8 trains from the route will be used to enhance 614,514 and 615P(515) frequencies.
