1. Introduction
There are a lot of schools and residential estates in Shun Lee and Shun Tin areas, and there is no MTR to Shun Lee, while Shun Tin has to wait until 2025 earliest for rail network to access there. As a result, buses are important for the residents and students to link the MTR stations nearby(e.g. Choi Hung station). So, the following suggestions are proposed to better the bus service in the area.
2. Routes affected
a) 26 Shun Tin-Tsim Sha Tsui East
b) 27 Shun Tin-Mong Kok(Circular)
c) 29M Shun Lee-San Po Kong(Circular)
d) 42 Shun Lee-Cheung Hong
e) 23 Shun Lee-Kwun Tong Ferry(Circular)
f) 23M Shun Lee-Lok Wah(Circular)
g) 26M Choi Hung-Kwun Tong(Circular)
3. Suggestions for the rearrangement
Firstly, route 26 will be extended to Star Ferry and become a circular route. After passing Science Museum, it will follow the current route 5 to Star Ferry and then follow the current route 1A to Regal Oriental Hotel before returning back to its original route. This can extend the market of service 26 to Star Ferry Pier and Nathan Road areas so it can serve the more of the Yau Tsim Mong District and Kowloon City. Secondly, route 27 will be moved into Mong Kok East Station as its terminus and it will not continue to be a circular route. Its 2nd half will turn into Sai Yee Street and follow the current route 1A to Regal Oriental Hotel and return to its original route. After that route 213D and 27 can have 1+1 frequencies when departing from Mong Kok East Station. For the region affected by the diversion of Route 27, route 42 will have additional services after 2 buses from 27 are moved into 42, and it will have a sectional fare of $4.9 for passengers getting off at or after Prince Edward Station. Thirdly, route 23 and 26M will be merged into the new route 26M which will have its terminus in Kwun Tong extended to Kwun Tong Ferry and then follow the original 23 to Shun Lee Fire Station and then back to the original route 26M to Choi Hung. Routes 23M and 29M will remain the same, but one ATE bus on route 23 will join route 29M to boost its capacity.
4. New BBI systems added
a) Route 5>Routes 26/27 (to Shun Tin) to replace the original route 26
b) Route 26M(to Choi Hung)>Route 23M
5. Conclusion
It is hoped that the above suggestions will be considered.
你們要恆切禱告,在此警醒感恩。

1 Bus routes from Kowloon East to Jordon/Tsim Sha Tsui via Ma Tau Wai are significantly faster than those via Mong Kok, jouney time from Tsim Sha Tsui to Shun Tin Estate will be extened as least 15 minutes. It is totally unacceptable.

2 Although frequency of route 27 is affected by traffic condition at Mong Kok Road, its bus stop at Prince Edward Station and Mong Kok Road are vitally important. Diverting the route to Sai Yee Street will cause inconvenience for passengers from Mong Kok.

見到26兜旺角已經搖頭
好地地走去兜旺角咪只會同27/213D爭食同令尖沙咀客卻步

仲有樓上
Although同But係唔會同時使用架

First, do you know that route 1A bounds for Sau Mau Ping via Boundary Street instead of Argyle Street like the original 27? Having route 26 and 27 changed into the route of 1A cannot serve the larger amount of passengers on the Argyle Street. Also, it causes inconvenience to people who used to board 27 bounds for Shun Tin since there will be no more routes connecting between Four Shuns and Argyle Street while route 42 bounds to Shun Lee via Boundary Street already so there is no need to have the addtional 26 and 27 passing through Boundary Street like 1A . The most ridiculous problem is that no compensation is given. Concerning the above problems, the route of 27 should not be changed.

Second, why can 213D and 27 depart from Mong Kok East Station? The former isn't mentioned in the plan to be changed, meaning that it will still be a circular which does not pass through Mong Kok East Station, while the latter is diverted to go to Shun Tin via Boundary Street in the plan, how can they have combined headway like you mentioned bound to Kowloon East?

Third, according to my understanding, two cars serving 27 originally will be transferred to serve route 42. I am doubted that whether the number of cars running route 27 can still maintain the frequency of the current route.

In addition to the above points mentioned, I would like to move on to the diverted route of 26. Though the route of 26 now is satisfying and since the demand of going to Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok South is relatively low and thus the voice of extending routes to these areas is low, it is understood that you would like to enlarge the serving area of 26 to Yau Ma Tei. However, the fact that 26 is the only route connecting To Kwa Wan and Nathan Road between Jordan Road and Salisbury Road. My suggestion are as follows. The first one is diverting the route of 26 in Yau Tsim Mong district, and via To Kwa Wan on both bounds. The second one is extending 27 to Jordan (To Wah Road)

My suggestion on diverting 26:
After arriving Chatham Road North, pass through Chatham Road South to Nathan Road(North Bound). Then follows 93K to Mong Kok East Station.

Suggestion on extending 27:
Follow route 95 to Jordan (To Wah Road) after arriving Nathan Road. Same arrangements for Shun Tin bound, though still pass through Mong Kok Road instead of Sai Yeung Choi Street South.

I will add the comments on Shun Tin to Kwun Tong routes later on.

Before the discussion on the routes linking between Shun Tin and Kwun Tong, I would like to ask a question. What is the different between the proposed 26M and 26A? My suggestion is adjusting the frequency of 23M to 10 minutes per departure and add 1 bus serving the route (as 2 buses are reduced during the rationalization of bus routes) , while 26A remains omitting Shun Lee Fire Station in Kwun Tong bound.

Thanks for your suggestions. Now the route 27 will remain unchanged and route 26 will be diverted as follows:
After arriving Chatham Road North, pass through Chatham Road South to Nathan Road(North Bound). Then follows 93K to Mong Kok East Station
For 23 it will be cancelled and 23M will run every 10 mins. 26M will remain the same too.
你們要恆切禱告,在此警醒感恩。

Well, do you mean combining 23 and 26M into new 26A(Choi Hung↔Kwun Tong Ferry)? If the 26M remains unchanged but the 23 is cancelled, there will be huge problems...

I don't think that your suggestion to divert route 26 can be approved by the Kwun Tong and Kowloon City District Councils.
