Ols Scotish Volvos with alx bodies
Buses like that were produced for use in Scotland in their hundreds - volvos with this style of blindbox and alexander body. production ceased in 1986, and , the buses were transferred when the bus companies were sold in the late 1980s to many owners. Here are two survivors- both with stagecoach. the nearside view of the bus- 15295- is at dumfires and shows off the now standard stagecoach livery, while 916 is at Dundy, showing the colours of the local bus company which was taken over by stagecoach.
