United adds Los Angeles - Singapore nonstop service from Oct 2017
United Airlines on Thursday (01JUN17) announced and opened reservation for planned service launch of Los Angeles – Singapore nonstop flight, subject to government approval. From 27OCT17, the airline’s Boeing 787-9 aircraft will serve this route on daily basis, becoming the longest nonstop flight on board Boeing 787 variant, in terms of scheduled elapsed flying time.UA037 LAX2055 – 0650+2SIN 789 D

Elapsed flying time for UA037 is scheduled at 17hrs 55mins, UA038 15hrs 15mins. Above schedule is effective from 05NOV17, reflecting changes to daylight savings time.
As a result of this service launch, the Star Alliance member will cancel Hong Kong – Singapore sector from 28OCT17 (SIN departure 29OCT17).
