我個意思係,九公司app一開出黎就已經send大量request去server問ETA,如果server無預到呢個流量就緊係頂唔順啦

咁你知唔知九記個apps有離線eta啊?洗鬼即時咩 希望運輸處年底搞個GTFS系統真喺可以包埋ETA資訊,咁樣一嚟乘客唔需要用巴士公司app先睇到ETA,二嚟巴士公司亦都唔駛用資源去升級伺服器處理用戶需要,等啲人直接用第三方app問政府server攞資料就可以 本帖最後由 頭文字TRIDENT 於 2018-4-14 06:19 編輯

For my best understanding..
unlike KMB,
Citybus is using a "mobile web database" Api to return and reply all those request from user's mobile application
which is very similar to what TD proposed application and more stable than KMB one in theory.

Both apps use server-side APIs to retrieve data, but for relatively static data the app may opt to use the cached data (or database) before the data expires.
But for ETA data they always fetch real time data from their respective ETA APIs.

may be I explain more clearly for what I previously mentioned. citybus one first retrived and transmit the data to the mobile webfrom the server first (web base Api), and the application transmit and retrieve data from the web by using specific Jquery.... Unlike KMB have 2 sets of Api for mobile application and website respectively.
