Even in my City, Bellevue, there's police car that are hybrid, but it's hybrid Camry (for pursuit..and it's as good as the traditional Ford Crown Victoria) and in King County, almost all of the older generation motorpool cars (Dodge neon, statrus, Chevrolet Caverlier, Chevrolet Prizm (Twins of Corolla)) are being replaced by Toyota Prius, Honda Civic NGV and Honda Civic Hybrid...which is the first of the whole US to use a whole fleet of non-US made brand.
