當年今日：倫敦地下鐵路大火(1987年)

倫敦地下鐵路1987年今日(11月18日)發生大火，
三十人喪生，五十多人受傷。

發生大火的英王十字路地鐵站，
是倫敦一個古老地鐵站，
當晚七時許扶手電梯下的機房首先起火，
迅速蔓延到售票大堂。

After the fire, HMRI (Railway Inspector for UK) has produce Fenner's Report, put in a lot of measure to prevent fire within LU, such as compartment rule (1 hour fire resistance on material), fire prevent measures within the lift and escalator.
