I take that's just a different of accent (London accent?) rather than anything, but I
should point out that most of the time I heard it's "En-var-ro".
Let's not dig too deep int ...
actually not really sure about that because when I chatted to some drivers they pronounced as same as the 1st 3 vocals of environment but not "var"
btw, if it sounds "var", then is it pronouncing like "far"? and so it will be pronounced like "and - far - ro" ??? because "vir" and "var" have exactly different pronunciation... Ai-Key-a is actually how the Scans. pronounce it originally...

you mean en-VEE-ro ?
yes, american always pronounce words in strange ways.
just like IKEA, they say it as AI-key-a :L accent... well, indeed, it is a dangerous subject! and the term 'Enviro' is not a real word, but a term invented by PR.
But, reakkt, in the South East of England, and even in Dublin, the way the word Enviro is pronounced is the way I explained above!
regards
Yoram Very true Yoram, the accent issue is a sensitive subject, we gotta careful about this.
I will say is from Environment, but when we pronounced it, omitted 'ment'.
