係香港成日要開車停車，呢類車會更大食... That's why I'm surprise how can my brother afford a Ford explorer in Hk and my sister also own a Chrysler Grand Cherokee...(we are American cars junkey...), however, I own a Nissan TIIDA in HK and a VW Jetta in US...

The reason they put sandbags is to enable the vehicle to have better traction with the ground, in order to fully use the torque.
That plane I think is the one used in 007 Casino Royale, it looks like it.
