反之亦然
另外，用"recommend"就得，應該唔需要"-ing form"
不過配詞有d怪
你係想叫prof. 寫封recommendation letter俾你定係點ga?

我覺得樓主係想多謝professor幫佢推薦取得Scholarships，如果係咁的話，長度都OK。
不過文法上就真係有多少問題。
example:
>>> to + xxx ing (唔會有ing)
>>> I will continue to try my best in my future studies. (呢句好似怪怪地)

"continue" 同"further" 個意思重覆左. "try my best" 同"my further studies"個"my" 都係重覆左. professor 推薦你... 咁宜家係咪已經得了獎呢?
如果只係提名, 又未知結果 / 未 in 的話,
我覺得那句 "I will try my best in my future studies" 會幾兀突咯, 總係格格不入咁
反而你寫成 "I will do my best for the coming interview / this schloarship" 還來得實際
如果係得了獎的話, 呢封信就真係過短
呢類官式信,
中間係要插一些客套式, 未致於陳腔濫調但其實講同唔講都冇乜方別的說話
好似話乜鬼呢幾年晌 dept 度學左好多好有用的知識, 有助日後工作之類的話語
我手頭上有幾封呢類由得獎者寄來的信, 不過就係中文, 似乎幫唔到你喇
btw, 有 schloarship, 紙船定大船都好
