Plaxton Centro B7RLE for Wessex Connect

The new Bristol Portway Park & Ride operator Wessex Connect have recevied their first Plaxton Centro body B7RLE last week and BX07AYU first time operate on 902 Portway P&R service today

這款車身與某內地的巴士差不多,不過右邊太平門安裝在中間,感覺有點古怪。

新既B7RLE將太平門位置移到中間,Plaxton的如是,Wright也是一樣。
聽聞是為了遷就Volvo設計而改的...

我聽番嚟既消息就係因為要將太平門設置於低地台區域,令到乘客唔需要'爬'上車尾果3級作緊急疏散。

No it isn't. The change is a result of a new EU directive which require the emergency
exit to be fitted in such a way that it is easily accesible to all passenger wherever they
are on the bus. The new VDL SB280 also have the same design.

Thanks NV58, thats why I have checked and asked some ppl in the bus industry last night and updated this afternoon.
