Rapid KL's B7RLE

Since there some discussion on other thread, I will post the photos earlier.

There will be 150 units and will be officially available for wheelchair passengers on June 1, on trunk and city shuttle routes but not for local shuttles. The body is made by Deftech and uses a large number of Chinese parts, including ventilation fans and seats.

Well, since Rapid KL is buying buses from China, why they don't buy low floor buses as well?

I hope they can maintain these Volvo buses well and don't let thses expensive buses become a piece of junk on road like their brother, IVECO Turbo City: Exhausting black smoke and all the electonic display is out of order within few years!

這輛竟然會像勝利二型那些有司機門,是否當地的規格呢?

This is Rapid KL's standard for their new buses. But usually the drivers do not use them.

這不單止是Rapid KL的標準, 亦是馬國的法例規定.

I don't think so, as the rebodied and reregistered Iveco Turbo Cities are not retrofitted with driver's doors.

馬來西亞的巴士不一定有司機門的,吉隆坡機場去最
近的 KTM 站的日產 UD 巴士,都沒有司機門的。

That is the newest law.
And only newest purchased buses are requested to install side doors for drivers.
