Due to the flooding incident at Wong Tai Sin Station (WTS), it is necessary to conduct an urgent procurement to replace the affected escalators to ensure the safe and reliable operations of escalators.
MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for Contract C5771-23E Replacement of Escalators in WTS.
2.Scope of Works
The scope of works comprises the replacement of 12 units of escalators in WTS (plus one more unit as an option). The new escalators shall be machine-outside-truss type approved by Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD).
Tenderers shall be a Registered Escalator Contractor of the EMSD. They should be familiar with and have experience in the escalator replacement works.
Maintenance services are required to be provided during the Defects Liability Period (DLP). Provision of maintenance services after the DLP will be under a separate maintenance services contract. Tenderers will be required to tender for both the replacement works contract and maintenance services contract.

看來上次洪災把WTS站扶手電梯的安全部件全部搞到要提前報廢？🤔
不過話時話，宜家用的電梯年限過左幾耐？ 全個站有14條電梯，唔計東大堂嗰條長年唔開嘅電梯，即係有13條，但點解會用12+1 option，唔通仲有1條有機會唔駛換？:o S3V3 發表於 2023-11-10 21:24

按字面睇係想換成室外唔怕入水機型，留返1部個option應該係D出口果組其中一條？
D出口果邊之前無咁受洪水威脅
