灣仔 ... old
Wan Chai is one of the older districts on Hong Kong Island. There are plenty of old buildings, and also new redevelopments as well.http://www.globalphotos.org/hongkong/20070721/IMG_7924.jpg

A new tall tower rises above the rest, more dated buildings.

This row of historic homes looks quite primitive, but with a new coat of painting, has received a new life somewhat.

Plenty of property agents surrounded this redevelopment hoping to lure some unsuspecting buyers into their traps.

This building also rose out of a redevelopment, and popped up so fast I didn't notice it until I looked closely and wondered why I have never seen it before.

This old post office is now an exhibition centre for environmentalism.

Blue House is one of the more famous historic buildings in Wan Chai. The bottom section has been turned into an informal museum while people still live in the quarters upstairs. It's certainly a glimpse into the past.

What I didn't know was that there are 2 other coloured historic buildings nearby in the same block.

More history from Wan Chai to come in a future part. Meanwhile, you can see the whole collection in my Wan Chai gallery on my website : http://www.globalphotos.org/hongkong.htm <<個人感覺>>
對角線構圖的相太多…有種東歪西倒的感覺
西環,土瓜灣果批相都一樣…
