《相片》 澳洲 The Overland翻新車廂The Overland 行走阿得雷德至墨爾本之間，全程需時十一小時，隔天開行。
列車車廂於去年完成四百萬澳元翻新工程，車廂分Premium Red Kangaroo （頭等）及 Red Kangaroo（普通等）兩級。

機車同架列車係分屬不同公司的.
機車及機車的車組員係屬於Pacific National公司, 呢間公司主力提供澳洲境內的鐵路貨運服務, 以及向Great Southern Railway提供牽引客車用的機車.
而車卡及車卡的車組員是屬於Great Southern Railway的.
故此機車污糟, 可能係之前架機車做過貨運列車(例如運煤), 而GSR是沒有責任清洗機車的.
另問, The Overland是否沒有臥鋪車? 因為小弟上次由墨爾本去亞德雷德係坐The Ghan既Coach Class的.
[ 本帖最後由 gordon 於 2008-3-17 00:21 編輯 ] The sleeper cars used to be the Gold Kangaroo Class before the refurbishment, i've travelled on one of them in a single cabin in 2006, the lunch and tea and coffee were included that the time.
NR locomotives are maintained by UnitedGroup Rail at Spotswood in Melbourne, the cleaniness of the locomotives are depended if they have listed it on the contract.
NR locomotives mainly haul long distance passenger trains, interstate container express, and steels.
82 Class locomotives seems to be doing a lot of coal traffic actually.
