- Golf I a real time classic
- Golf II an evolution from Mk I, also a classic
- Golf III wrong direction. car grown up but not the handling
- Golf IV keeping the wrong direction, dull handling
- Golf V definitely a future classic
Anyway, I used to own a Golf III for 8 years.It was realilable, IMO is looks better than the Mk IV.
