何為硬水!
有朋友剛去完歐洲遊玩!他說當地導遊話,當地的水喉水是硬水,顏色較為偏白而濁,而且可以隨是飲用,無需煲滾:L ?我想問何為硬水,又有無軟水呢!:lol 當然有我記得以前中學化學科有讀過
硬水是指水中的 calcium 和 magnesium 正離子含量較多
其中一個試驗就係肥皂較難在硬水中產生泡沬
所以你所講, 開出來的水是帶奶白色, 大概就是這兩種離子所產生的顏色

Hard water = from underground, usually contains lots of minerals.
Usually when ppl travelling from hard water zone to soft water zone they will have digestion problem for the first few days.e.g. me......:L

I guess it should be the other way round. I have now been in the US for nearly two weeks and one of my travelling companions hasn't got used to drinking tap water (which is hard water, with huge amounts of visible suspension) and has been suffering from stomachaches. So we spent a pretty large sum of money buying bottled water for ourselves. 造成硬水的離子是不能用眼看得見的,水裡的懸浮物沒可能是由硬水導致。
硬水是由於雨水在下降過程中吸收了酸性氣體(除了導致人為酸雨的氣體外,還有自然存在的酸性氣體如二氧化碳等),導致雨水略具酸性,從而與地上的石灰岩產生化學反應所導致。硬水又分暫時硬度和永久球硬度兩種;分別在暫時硬水是可以煮沸的方式去解除其酸性,而永久硬水則不能。
硬水的好處包括:含礦物質可有益身體、味道較軟水為佳等;缺點則包括:難以產生泡沬、加熱時會產生水垢(有可能導致洗衣機等用水電器過熱)、對皮膚不利等。
要軟化硬水,方法包括:煮沸(只適用於暫時硬度)、利用離子交換器(但會產生含鈉離子的水,對心臟不利)、加入石灰和蒸餾等。
硬水與否對是否能直接從水龍頭喝水並無直接關係;能否如此取決於食水源頭水質、過濾工序是否足夠和供水設備衛生程度等,最重要是食水中有害物質和有害微生物的含量。由於很多石灰岩地區有充沛的地下水供應,而地下水本身不會含有很多微生物,因此相對於河水只須簡單處理便可飲用。
