Route 205 specials - part 2

- continued from previous msg-

On Tuesday to Thurday Blue Triangle also lent 4 buses to work on route 205.
here are T8 and M1200 at Moorgate

So, last week route 205 was operated as follows:
1. Normal route 205 between Paddington and Whitechapel- but only to Liverpool Street on Monday and Tuesday, then to Aldgate on Wendsday, and Whitechapel on Thurs and Fri- operated by Metroline with 17 buses.
2. bwtween Kings Cross and Liverpool Street: started on Tuesday to Friday with up to extra 6 'AV's operated by Metroline
and on 8+11 July 4 extras operated by Metroline between Liverpool Street and Paddington
3. Paddington to Moorgate: only on Tues 12 to Friday 15 July with help by Blue Triangle with 15 buses.
As of Monday 18 July, and on Mon-Fri only 0700-1900, Metroline would be operating extra service on the 205, using 12 AVs .

Route 91: First continue to operate extra buses between Nags Head and Euston- but many buses do not carry blinds, so bus fans would have to make blinds and fit it to the buses. it is expected that some of the scanias single decks would appear.

Route 29: extra buses between Finsbury Park and Wood Green using Metros and three articulated buses- with no blinds.
Route 29 will be converted from double deck operation to articulated bus operation on 10 Dec 2005, so, those extra buses currently running on route 29 would very soon be fitted with blinds.

Special services:
there are two of those:
Arnos Grove to Finchely Central station - awarded to Sullivan Buses
Arnos Grove to Wood Green and Seven Sisters station - awared to First.
The buses used on those services carry blinds that show 'Rail/Underground replacement services' so it is not interesting to photo- as - by looking at the photo you can not tell what those services are!

regards
