Funnels like these were common in estates in 70s and 80s. You may find similar funnels in Lei Cheng Uk Estate and Tai Wo Estate.

The funnel is built for the planned restaurant in the shopping centre adjacent to the block. They are managed by The Link if the restaurant is divested. However, most of these funnels have asbestos inner lining for heat insulation.
