[GB] Cobham Rally 2009
Last Sunday saw the rally season well and truly kicked off with the annual open day of the Cobham Bus Museum. Fortunately, this year we haven't seen any snow, rain, or in fact any nasty weather, with an impressive number of vehicles turning up for the occasion.http://www.tinywong.talktalk.net/Cobham/IMG_4255.jpg
Traditionally, the Cobham rally is pretty focused on London buses, this year was no exception.

The old London brigade is represented by the good old RTs:

And of course the Routemasters:

Plus the odd Olympian as well:

Even the first London Dart, DT1, as well:

....While the latest London buses are represented by these:

And the only London hybrid to turn up for the occasion, East London's Tempo 29001

But this is not the only "green" bus turning up for the occasion, as Reading Buses sent one of their bio-ethanol powered Scania as well:

Otherwise, of course there were participants outside London:

This year we got an ex-Citybus Olympian as well:

Highlight of the event though, is the relaunch of RT1 by London Bus Preservation Trust. For the occasion, London Transport Museum has taken the last RT, RT4825, for a very rare reunion of the first and the last:
