[GB] Routemaster registrations (15 pics)
One of the most interesting traditions in British bus scene is registering buses with old, or we call it, cherished registrations. In many case, the registration is transferred to newer vehicles even thought the Routemaster in question was still in service, as demonstrated by London Central's NV60, which nicked the reg "260CLT" off RM1260:

In recent years, this tradition has been discontinued in many places as these cherished plates are snapped up by managers of various bus operators for their cars. In London, the most enthused operator to continue this practice is Arriva London:
