I am not aware of the issue, but as other members have correctly pointed
out, you could have used the hyperlink function available. In any case, it is
your responsibility to check your post and make necessary changes where
appropriate in the first place.
For your concern over the conversion of URL I suggest you to raise the issue
on forum Z.
