They only do that up the the Mk.1 Crusaders. Since Alexander and Dennis was brought under the Mayflower unbrella, Wright decided to take a much closer tie with Volvo and DAF in response. I don't know why they did, but it's at that point, when the SB120 and B6BLE came out, they stop bodying Darts.

With ADL pretty standing itself as a all-singing-all-dancing manufacturer, I reckon any co-operation between the two companies is along way away - ADL is happy to go it along and don't need (at the moment) the smaller Wrightbus, and Wrightbus have very good partnership and loyal following to maintain their share of the market. Unless both organisations somehow end up at similar size, a tie up between them (or even Optare) is unlikely in foreseable.

Just to close the case once and for all. The Wrightbus have absolutely no involvement on the E400 whatsoever. E400 was ADL's response to the successful B7TL/Gemini and nothing more than that.
