San Fran E500 sightseeing buses
There are tow firms that operate E500 Tridents in San Francisco.here are 3 photos: It surprises me a great deal that they are now removing the words SAN FRANCISCO on the sides of the open top E500s. They used to be there the last time I was in the Bay Area:

Can any one explain why they started removing the SAN FRANCISCO signs?
P.S. I miss the Bay Area a great deal.. Moving out soon and transfer to DC?

But the open-top E500 operator in San Francisco seems to be enjoying excellent business despite the economic turmoil and fierce competition in the tour bus business (there are at least four open-top operators in SF). I was in the Bay Area for more than seven months this year and each time I traveled downtown, I could easily spot open top E500s with at least 20 passengers on the upper deck.Btw, did the OP picture any of the ex-Londong Big Bus Leyland Titans now operated by CitySightseeing but still wearing Big Bus livery? i saw 3 leyland titans from SF city sightseeing at Downtown Santa monica recently, and they still have big bus livery, but the sides and rear are covered by adv
