(LHR->HKG) CX256 new timetable arrangement
As CX256 is starting to operate from next Thursday (1st DEC 2005),but there will be a new time arrangement from 26th MAR 2006 until 28th OCT 2006 (Summer time in UK)
the new times for CX256 will be as follow:
Departing everyday from LHR at 19:40
Arriving in HKG at 15:05
duration will be 12:25 hrs...
In my opinion, the new flight times are encouraging most of the passengers who are taking CX250, to change to take CX256...
as to reduce the loading of CX250

The Summer time starts at 0:00 on 26th Mar 2006 Sunday. So 25th Mar 2006 will still using the timetable starting from 1st Dec 2005:-
CX252 LHR 11:35 HKG 07:25+1 日 三 五六 744 0 11:50
CX252 LHR 12:05 HKG 07:55+1 一 二四 744 0 11:50
CX250 LHR 18:05 HKG 14:05+1 日一二三四五六 EQV 0 12:00

Just checked out from the CX website, the LHR->HKG summer schedule is going to be:-
CX252 LHR 12:45 HKG 07:35+1 日一二三四五六 744 0 11:50ET
CX250 LHR 18:20 HKG 13:20+1 日一二三四五六 EQV 0 12:00ET
CX256 LHR 19:40 HKG 15:05+1 日一二三四五六 34C 0 12:25ET
CX254 LHR 22:35 HKG 17:50+1 日一二三四五六 EQV 0 12:15ET
I do think some passengers may get confuse or going to the wrong gate during the 256/254 period, as CX256 depart 40 mins earlier than CX254, I wonder can CX manage to process all the check-in procedures at T3 counters in the same time (2x A34C) norrislaw在 2005-11-24 07:38 AM 發表:

thx very much~! Maybe CX have to open their counter earier at LHR in that case as they would have to cope with 2 departure close to each other... Otherwise that could lead to delay...

我17:50先CHECK到IN, 我仲要係第一位CHECK IN 的旅客...
不過45分鐘TURN AROUND, 254隨時DELAY都得... 3 hrs is what I have been told by ground staff @ LHR, like CX250 depts 1805, they wont start check in until 3pm even there were 50 people queue up at 2:40pm
