This seems to have a shorter bodywork than the rest of the type. As S3N92 pointed out, TOJ592S is an early prototype. Story about this vehicle can be found here: http://thebbpg.co.uk/toj592s.htm

Correct. Only 30 were built, and all went to GMPTE.
From my understanding this is one of the 2 being preserved by SELNEC (plus one more bought for parts). Thanks for your sharing! I wish I were there too...
And really a great appreciation to the owner of 3053 for
restalling the "MCW" badge on the front...:lol
The 3065 in Coventry Corp livery is no doubt another
surprise...great to see that it's preserved (that's the last
Coventry Metro I rode on).
