How come the S3BL retire so early? Are they going to scrap or somewhere else in otherside of the world?
Such a big bus only have one door, thats a bit weird for this popular services
The D-reg (or DW-reg in HK) S3BLs are the oldest vehicles in the fleet, so with the MLs gone, they naturally fall into line as the next to be replace. No word they are going anyway, I'm afraid their fate will be the same as the MLs. The next should be the EC-reg S3BLs, then the DLs. I do not expect any of them to last beyond the end of 2012.
It's not weird for these B9TL having a single door either. Why do you need another one when loading/unloading speed isn't important anyway.
