East LDN: new buses, destinations and comparisons
Dear All,In the Becton area, routes 101 and 474 were changed, and terminals altered.
Route 101 was cut back to beckton, and extended to a new destination- Gallows Corner- which is a new housing development not yet finished I show 17091 going to the new destination.
Route 474 was extende to Manor Park, and 5 extra buses are needed.
Blue Triangle bought 5 East Lancs Omindekkas from Scania, and here is SO1 at east beckton. This is the first day of service of this bus.
Also, I show TL902 - an east lancs bodied Trident - new in 2000.
See the many differences between the two East Lancs products:
1. the new colour rules of London Buses- almost all red. very dull.
2. The position of the staircase
3. the new standard of blinds display
4. the new standard of indicators
5. the extra opening windows
who says London is "boring"??? ha ha ha!!
