LDN: the last day of service of the Titan [T]
Dear All,Today was the last day in service of the Titan. I mean the last day of service on regular Tfl/London Buses tendered service!
The last Titans in London were running for Blue Triangle on school routes 649 651 652 in the Romford Area.
Today was the end of term before the Xmas school holidays in Romford, and schools finished early.
The last T on route 649 was T1101- here it is at Romford station - 1335hrs
The very last T was T8 on route 652- here it is at Upminster at 1605- about to depart for the last time.
I also show the rear view of the same bus...
so, good bye Titans- 1978-2005 of loyal service in London.
Titans remain in service in Liverpool, and the last day would be 28 Jan 2006- with many guests
The last day of the Metrobus in TfL service in London should be Friday 12th Jan- the last bus will run for arriva on school journey route 313.
