[GB] Comparing Hybrid Performance
A very interesting article about how the hybrids in London have fared so far. Looks like hybrids are not the magical cure afterall. Another interesting observation is the comparable running cost of the B5LH and E400H, which kind of back up the reason why both types won follow-up orders in London.http://www.busandcoach.com/featurepage.aspx?id=4608&categoryid=0 It is a good thing to see more and more new hybrid buses joining tfl, i think no matter which manufacturers products as long as it is good for the environment then it is fine. Personally, I prefer ADL E400 body Hybrid buses. Of coz from the point of view of bus companies, although the govt provides grants for them, still they would choose the bus with the least operational costs and with the best efficiency in long-term maintenance.(jus my thinking)
