[Sydney] 黃頭長春車
今年7月初，cityrail從EDI-downer Reliance Rail訂購的78列長春8卡車，陸續開始投入營運。到2012年1月1日為止，已有6列（A3-A8）在Airport/East Hills line載客了。
至於以下幾列仍在測試和重裝
A1-在Cardiff重新組裝中，因為是先頭製作車。
A2-在Auburn測試中，有幾卡未有座位。
A9-在Auburn測試中，很多時出來各路線試車。
之後16列暫定會比Northern Line。

未開始退，不過好多R 6卡車已經拆散咗，再加落去變為兩抽4S（一抽8S）。Hornsby廠冇晒R車，Flemington得返4抽，仲要係前Hornsby車。
S車會留8 抽8卡喺Enfield貨場做大後備。 據悉,澳大利亞國內有數家鐵路列車制造廠,而且其出品素質不算差,悉尼鐵路部門引進長春車真的不明所以.
本人希望了解澳大利亞政府是否有措施鼓勵採購本國列車,善用該國資源和產能? At the time of tendering, there was (and still is) no supplier in Australia is able to manufacture 624 car trains within the timeframe, mostly due to labourshortage and lack of manufacturing plant availability.
There are still some local contents from the Australia end,such as the most of the design, project management, assembly of cab components,seats, wiring, as well as commissioning and on-going maintenance.
