我只係打個比喻，我亦都相信 $3,000 幾蚊一定買到 Windows XP Professional 32bit...
（我亦都唔排除因地方而異，特登將個價托到 $2,500，因為小弟是以 $2000 左右既學生價買下，故唔太清楚市價，請見諒）
不過...唔想俾錢，又比人 block，一係好心買廠機、二係俾錢買成個 OS，請尊重知識版權。

奇就奇在 Windows XP呢五年黎, 出面市場唔見有大減價同賤賣...
而且...
用緊盜版 Windows0既用戶, 即使宜家 M$ 有咩「給盜版用戶一條生路」計劃...
應該無人會向 M$ 填 report 解釋你點解用盜版, 再補 Windows 正版細差價, 買個正版產品授權號返黎... :L
宜家我只係怕 M$ 遲早藉 Windows Genuine Advantage Tool 查到0的盜版人戶而唔俾用戶登入戶口
登入唔到戶口就等於無得用 Windows ...
導致個個「個人盜版用戶」人心惶惶...
最後我都係講一句...
家庭有經濟能力的話, 請尊重知識版權. :D
所以第日都係買廠機好過...

OEM Version is much much cheaper...
WinXP Home only cost $7xx
WinXP Pro.only cost $1xxx

The price of Windows Software Family has a fixed price.
Home Product (ME, XP Home Edition, etc.) => $1550
Professional Prduct (2K, XP Pro, etc.) => around $2300
MS had never cut the suggested price...

The restriction on the license of Windows makes the difference.
In an OEM Windows, the license only vaild when you install the copy to your newly bought ccomputer (AND the OEM software should buy together with the hardware).
It voids when you make a significant change to your computer hardware, for ex., changing the motherboard.
In a Retail Windows, no such restrictions.

OEM 版
只可以隨廠「付」送, 並跟一個 OEM licence, 用戶日後唔可以賣隻碟 / licence出去
街邊正版貨
買一隻碟之後可以要求買多幾個 licence, 而隻碟 / licence 係可以賣出去
