[UK] Date set for First York ftr
After so much anticipation, First has finally announced the start date of thefirst "ftr" operation. The first service, operated by First York and supported
by York city council, will start on 8th May, using 11 Wright Streetcars. Another
operation is expected to start in Leeds later this year, by converting cross-
city rt.4 (Whinmoor - Pudsey) to ftr operation.

On a side note, Go-Ahead Group has brought Probus Management of West
Bromwich for GBP2.4M. This is their 2nd acquisition in West Midlands only
months after they bought Birmingham Coach Company
