It doesn't make big different for them to take a Solo rather than Chinese built buses.  Chinese built buses have a higher capacity, can also preform low floor function, and the very main reason to take them is the cost is much lower.

To be fair, those vehicles are versatile, and cheap to run as well. Who can blame them? The only thing is, as much of the HK bus services move into low floor operations, the Coaster/Rosa equipped minibuses will be continuously outclassed - I mean only if passengers or the government care about that in the first place.


I sure the government won't care about this much, you should know the government is now concertrate on developing railway rather than other modes.  so, keep the coaster rolling~

Solo is an invoative product,
but just too expensive for H.K./Macau market,
as read from the advertisment of Mistral,
they sold each Solo for 85,000pounds,
(about HK$1,300,000), at that price,
operators can buy 2 or 3 rosas.
