Should CX introduce A380 to long haul flights? like HKG-LHR (Many passengers)
Advantage: Attract passengers
Also, do you think CX should use the 2 flights fly within AUS to serve as domestic flight?
(CX102/103, CNS-BNE, CX104/105, ADL-MEL)
Advantage: expand markets in AUS
Finally, should CX use 74a to fly HKG-SYD, like QF?

I don't think they will, because CX wants to increase more flight for their existing long haul network, and also A380 is too big for them, plus A380 cannot carry more cargos instead baggage containers~~

Honestly, CX is decreasing their fleet now and CX said that they don't have any idea to introduce A380. I think Cathay may think B787 and A350 in the future for their long haul flights.

However, since finical tsunami, many airlines prepare to decrease their fleet and their flights. Like SQ cut the YVR <> SIN and KA cut some China flights (like Xian, Guilin). Cathay was introduced 748 Cargo and 773ER aircrafts few years ago and now they want Boeing can delay the date of the aircrafts send to CX or consider to cancel the order (748) - From the Yahoo! News ~

Therefore I think Cathay may not introduce any aircrafts in this moment. They may cut their flights and sell out some aircrafts like 777-200 ~

1) 對於國泰D大客(商務客)來說,frequency is more important than capacity

除非有slot/航權既問題,如果唔係開多幾班好過,內瓏其實A380 同 B747/B777差唔得好多

2) Cathay 有無 cabotage right? 行domestic flight 係要航權,仲要多數唔批
同埋一日一班好難同local airline 爭商務客

3) 除左無 first class 外,74A同33B對客人來說幾乎一樣,除非demand要大架機D如果唔係無乜意思,same idea,frequency > capacity
