Ldn- TfL withdraw a route!

Dear All,

It is now rare for Transport for London to withdraw a route and reduce services, but, on Friday 14th October route 374 in Romford was withdrawn.

Here is 18458- brand new trident alx400 10.6m long seen on the route shortly before the route was gone.

18458 is part of the batch of about 50, which would be the final batch of alx400 built.
the last 19 buses would be delivered to Stagecoach in Jan 2006 for route 47.

sorry, to clarify the alx400 body building programme:

Stagecoach just took delivery of over 30 alx400 tridents for routes 103, 257:
the next batch of over 30 buses would be going to Arriva for route 159: those would be short volvos with alx400 bodies
and the final batch would be the 19 tridents with alx400 for route 47.

The blindbox for those buses would be the same as shown above.
