For K-Trains in TKL, there are two battery types: -
     1. 220Ah, total 15 battery sets; and
     2. 375Ah, total 30 battery sets.
Deliveries will be made in phases from 2018 to 2019.

For SP-Trains in EAL, WRL & MOL, the battery shall provide 145Ah and the required quantity is 140 battery sets.  Deliveries will be made in phases from 2018 to 2022.

Each battery set consists of 76 battery cells connected and assembled in necessary wooden crate and/or metal tray. All of them are at C5 rating standby power supply with guaranteed service life not less than 17 years under the train operating environment. The 5-hour rated capacity of the battery set shall not be less than 80% of its rated capacity at the end of the service life.
