在英國收藏前城巴105的Dave Rogers發表聲明，指因為機件問題，遺憾地決定放棄收藏該巴士。

Dave Roger 先生希望各位能夠體諒他的決定。（編按：現時Dave仍有收藏另一部相同規格（而且更原裝）的前城巴 #102。）

遺憾地，我不得不作出決定，永久地把105從我的收藏中退休。 由於各種機械問題，她已經兩年沒有行走。即使我自己和專家的朋友們盡了最大的努力，但是她仍然無法行走，所以在我和Tom工作到昨天晚上（和大雨中）之後，我們終於決定要放棄了。

她至少需要一個全面的引擎拆卸和重建，或者裝上一個新的引擎，但兩者我都無法在金錢上負擔。 而且由我擁有她開始，已經注意到她尾軸上有一個裂縫，亦一直有在檢查。

RIP :-(

(圖) 這可能是最後一次拍攝到她行走的情況，那仍是一個快樂的時間。

Statement

Sadly I've had to make the decision to permanently retire 105 from my collection. She's been out of use for almost two years now due to various mechanical issues, and despite the best efforts of myself and expert friends she still won't run, so after myself and Tom worked on her late into the night yesterday (and in pouring rain) we finally had to give up.

She would need at least either a complete engine strip down and rebuild, or a new engine, neither of which I have the budget for. I am also mindful of the fact she has a crack in the rear axle, which I've been keeping in check since I've owned her.

RIP :-(
