今年的農曆大除夕及年初一最高溫度達24度
根據天文台的預測，農曆大除夕（二月十七日）及年初一（二月十八日）預測溫度為20 - 24攝氏度，濕度為75% - 95%。http://www.hko.gov.hk/contentc.htm
看來想穿厚衣服去行花市及拜年，今年便沒有機會了，反而有沒有人穿著短袖衣服甚至背心去行花市及拜年呢？

Solution:I am not sure if your statement is correct, but I think that this situation is possible.
This is because there will be warm in Chinese New Year period.(Later??? God-determine-orientated :P)
However, there will be rainny after 2/19/07.Some possible points are:
1. There is no such rainny period that more than 2-3 days since 2/1/07.
2. Because the day of 12/22/06 was dry and sunny, it is possible that there will rain in Chinese New Year.The process is known as "dry winter, wet Chinese New Year".
3. The wet period is owing to fog or mist, and the sunshine level is decreasing next 6 - 7 days (expcet 2/15 which is not the day of sunshine).According to the change of weather law, there should be some rainny period.
Latest news: Little sunshine can still be available today (2/15/07), but this is only valid in the afternoon, but not in the morning.Afterward, the next rainny period starts on 2/19 (or 2/18 later in the afternoon).All sunny period ends after 2/17.

呢幾年都好反常, 起碼我記得近四年既聖誕我都係著短袖,
但個幾年農曆年都係會凍返少少.
今年就連農曆年都咁鬼熱,
唔知係遲過年定係又試反常過.

Solution:There will be warm and rainny in this Chinese New Year.The weather changes away from normal because of El Nino.
Testing the property: Checking the temperature in the rainny days.We find that the range of rainny days are 18 - 21 or 19 - 22 degree C, which shows that the weather is warmer than normal.This is true because the average temperature should be 14 - 20 degree C, not matter what the weather is.(Q.E.D.)
Do not forget that the temperature changes in smaller range when the weather is bad, say in the rainny day.
:P 其實看一看以前的天氣資料，於五十年代至八十年代初期是較多出現溫度比正常異常高十多度的情況，好像三月市區最高溫度出現三十度便是在1973年3月31日：

Solution:Even though the terms "El Nino" and "La Lina" are not used quite common, these 2 terms are still sutable to discribe the weather.According to the guess of HKO, the weight of thunderstorm and the weight of typhoon are toward to normal: Rainful in 2007: about 2000 - 2500 mm; number of typhoon: 4 - 6.Therefore, the weather properties tend to "El Nino", the real situation may not be true in some cases. :)
The weather goes on: because of more rainful on Saturaday or Sunday, say no sunshine return again within Febrary.(According to HKO, if the weather is bad this time, the comming sunshine period may disappear because the shortly sunny-partly cloudy is not vaild to appear next 5 - 7 days.Therefore, HKO expects the sun will not shine again next 6 days. :P)
P.S. topic:
Because there is rainny in this weekend, say no sunshine between 2/26 - 2/28. :funk:

Because the weather condition, the sun will not shine again within Febuary because the condition is unfavor to sunshine: we expect that HKO reports the short-sunshine mistakly owing to the rainny... :lol
P.S.: The partly sunny day is only good on 2/23/07.There will be rainny (no sunshine valid on Sundays Feb 07 rule :P) this Sunday.Therefore, the weather changes normally with the gods.

[ 本帖最後由 hp7629 於 2007-2-24 01:29 編輯 ] 今年二月既天氣非常溫暖，二月都未過晒，平均氣溫就已經比正常值高成差不多四度，好大機會創出天文台成立123年來最暖既二月。
仲有，唔只香港，整個華南普遍亦o係今年春節都受到溫暖既天氣影響。
