又唔係全數動力分散嘅,遠少少 Cornwall and Devon 已經有 HST呢,呢批 Mark 3都有啲歷史。夜晚過夜車又可以換下車,當然design要大執過啦,但係有排用所以都值。Pullman應該就唔啱用啦,除非 Paddington執到慢 path比佢啦。
反而 Chiltern唔一定食到,佢自己啲 5A都夠做,呢排仲斬多左 Kidderminster,唔認為客量會有增長空間。反而難以出入倫敦嘅 話(拖頭車加速慢,砌path難),行下 regional仲好,所以先話比 Scotland/Wales... JH_LE4612 發表於 2023-12-11 21:32

正解,啲人提出Mark 5A去GWR嘅建議係去頂替HST Castle sets,HST都算係loco-hauled。咁啱GWR Castle sets數目又差唔多,但係就多咗一卡first class出嚟。

今個星期開始 GWR 用 5-car Class 800/2 跑 Cardiff Central - Penzance,全面取代 Castle Class,有賣 1st class ticket,應該唔會浪費
但 HST 行 regional services 係車源不足之下的臨時措施,長期用 loco-hauled 行 stopping services 唔係咁理想
