[MY] 新山拉慶總站 Larkin Terminal, Johor Bahru (多圖)
從新加坡乘160/170往新山, 先在新加坡的Woodlands Checkpoint折騰了個多小時花了很久後, 終於到達馬來西亞新山口岸
在口岸繼續選乘170, 終點站位於離新山口岸約數公里的拉慶總站 Larkin Bus Terminal
在這個車站有開往新山各區, 機場和口岸的公共汽車
亦有開往新加坡, 馬六甲, 吉隆坡等等的班車
短短半小時多, 就拍攝了不少車款
在新加坡熟口熟面的B10M Duple, 來到馬來西亞就是另一種感覺

We went to JB at around 12:00.
However, as it was Easter holiday, the traffic at the checkpoint was so heavy.
The bus stop at Woodlands Checkpoint was full of people.
All buses/coaches at the checkpoint carried 100% full load of passengers to JB, and we ought to queue for the bus to JB checkpoint for more than 1 hour.:Q
But after completing the immigration at JB, there were very few passengers continuing their journey by 160/170.
And we finally took onto a 170 bus which carried less than 10 passengers to Larkin.:victory:
However, although 160/170 are so crowded, it seems hardly possible for double deckers to enter the Immigration Tower at JB due to height constraint. Am I right? Majority of people will catch a taxi to their destination at the check point, pick up by their Malaysian friends or simply stay at the city centre. That is one of the reason why there is so few passenger to Lakin.
During my stay in Singapore, I had been to JB for many times to shop and havegood and cheap meals there. And also the road condition on the way to the Malaysia new check point ! It is like a racing track with so many truns! I don't think it is safe for a double decker to run on that so poorly designed road! I guess they don't want the Singaporean bus has a big contrast comparing with those ones in Malaysia. Don't forget the maintenance of the Singaporean bus is far much better than those one in Malaysia. Those Malaysian bus maybe about 5 yrs old or even less but is already looks as old as those B10M!
