But .....
Many of the new buses seems already changed it's behaviour ...
Especially , the exhause pipe are able to install at right side but STILL install on left ..

Well, after having a look at the pictures, I just think that the point of releasing these pollutants is the same for the Tridents in two different places, the back near the nearside. The only difference is that for the Tridents in Singapore, the pipe is prolonged to the right-hand side (you can see that pipe clearly under the bumper), while the Hong Kong ones dont have the same setting. Yet, you can see that in the Hong Kong ones, the end ofthe exhaust pipe is already facing the offside. I think this could fulfill the requirement "as near as is reasonably practicable to the off side of the vehicle" if in case making the releasing point of these pollutants on the right-hand side is impractical, and I am not sure if extending the pipe like those in Singapore is allowed in Hong Kong.

This is the most important environmental problem in Hong Kong , if you're living in Hong Kong , please goto Nathan Road and have a deep breath during the time with bus departing !
I wish to point out , a bus company will not modify those unless the manufacturer approval as an option
As we can see , there's still a long way to the "reasonable" location of installing such pipe on nearest right hand side.

From above evidence , clearly shown it's able to install at the nearest RIGHT HAND SIDE !
So ...
How to apply on the following sentense ?
a) 該車輛的右側;或
(b) 該車輛的車尾,並在合理切實可行範圍內,盡量接近該車輛的右側。

If the pipe may hit the ground during road test, then it become impractical for HK market.

As quoted , not only the model trident containing such problems , you can also have a look on K230
I think the most important is our government may overlooked this problem and think this is not important at all . By the way when you standing at Nathan Road . Take a deep breath , the only affecting is our living environment , not the commissioner .

I am just saying the true , the facts , affecting you , me , and Hong Kong'ers
I believes more then 80% broadmate are living at Hong Kong within this forum
Problems were here long time but no one discover that only .
If no one point out , this problem will just continue runs and only surrounding / affecting us , this problem will not affect to those commissioner !

Of course , we need focus on which direction is the "BEST" within the law guideline ! Seems the right hand side is the only best choice since more then 90% timing right hand side will not affect pedestrian (You and me)
