[SIN] 即日消息:新捷运新订单

据CNA所报告,新捷运将在这两年内引进600辆巴士,包括300架平治O530 Citaro单层巴士和300架富豪B9TL双层巴士(相信目前150架Wright B9TL的订单已包括在内)。

相信这600辆巴士目的是为了代替300架Volvo MKIII单层巴士以及100架富豪热狗Olympian和200架利兰Olympian空调巴士。

不過﹐我懷疑SBS Transit個300架應該係加訂 (連同之前訂購既150架) ﹐我相信批Leyland Olympian同埋第一批Volvo Olympian會時日無多喇~~

都應該差不多了。香港的第一批利蘭都開始退,何況晚三年到達新加坡的利蘭?

計一計, 新加坡將單一部富豪B9折現今日匯價, 一部車不用港紙300萬, 加上每月平均交盤都十幾二十部, 不難怪取得大單;P

P.S. 到今個月底, 已運到新加坡的新B9底盤已經不下74台, 唔知有幾多嵌完車身準備出牌出街行:$

Can't agree more. The Citaro is a nice shocker. It really is a quality vehicle, and outclass the K230UBs in many departments, ride comfort, accessibility, to name a few.

Sticking with the Eclipse Gemini 2 bodywork on the new B9TLs makes perfect sense as well, considering Wrightbus has gone into great length on establishing an assembly line in Singapore. It will be hard to see them doing it if they don't have some long(-ish) term commitment from SBST.

Come to think, any words over the first Gemini, surely it must have arrived Singapore?

The first production Wright has already finished building at the Hougang Bus Assembly but has been severely delayed due to production errors and problems. Users are welcome to view the interior photos of the Wright B9TL here: http://www.hkitalk.net/SPT/redirect.php?tid=1871&goto=lastpost#lastpost

When the problems will be rectified remains a mystery. The prototype bus is still unheard of and no one actually knows where it really is (because no one saw it at Southampon anyway).

To clarify, SBST purchased 450 B9TLs in total, the order for 150 B9TLs are seperate. So this order actually encompasses the first batch (150 out of 201 or possibly the entire 201) Volvo Olympian double-decks.
