估計：
1. 香港的列車比紐約或芝加哥的列車大及重。
2. 安全問題，香港的鐵路橋係一代比一代多安全設備。
　觀塘綫等係石屎圍邊，西鐵及馬鐵因為車頭唔可以逃生，要在軌道兩旁加逃生道，越整越多野。
　芝加哥那些市中段真係開錯門就跌落街。
3. 英國佬做野一向比較穩陣（無褒貶），例如國鐵全線有圍欄而歐洲冇，
　所以香港的鐵路橋比較多安全防範措施都係繼承自英國作風。

講返芝加哥，似乎芝加哥Ｌ比紐約乾淨企理好多，單睇相，我會比較有信心在芝加哥搭車。

我坐嗰個唔知係咪同一個 system，我嗰個叫做 Chicago "L"
我坐過一個站既 City Loop，樓梯好窄。
City Loop 下低既街道都好窄，尤其係因為比條柱搞到得一半路面可以正常行車。（類似 NYC Inwood 段既 Broadway）

其實有個問題問咗好耐，芝加哥有無諗過好似紐約咁剷晒啲架空線改做地底
因為市中心既環境因為呢啲架空橋變得唔好

是同一個系統 :)
個人較支持將 Loop 內全部地鐵線地底化
可大幅改善景觀及噪音問題
Loop 外大部份市中心路段已建於地底
其他的都是位於 Sub-urban, 如下二圖 (攝於 Belmont 站月臺)

樓上答對了，是芝加哥 O' Hare 國際機場 (ORD) 站，興建年份便不詳了
連接機場的地鐵站怎能不企理 :lol

整體而言我覺得芝加哥和波士頓地鐵的治安差不多，不俗
雖然都是按地區而定
例如紫線及紅線北方是白人地區，治安普遍較好
乘坐紅線往南走，你會發覺車上黑人比例越來越高
去到 95th/Dan Ryan 的時候，差不多整車都是黑人
所以南部的治安不用多說了 ;P

B 兄何時到芝加哥乘坐過地鐵的? :o

最深印象係响機場泊車飛第到，搵咗三個鐘先搵得返架車 :L 個停車場好巨型

記不記得是哪個 sub-urban? :o
按道理不會是芝加哥北部的，大多是中國城以下的南部。
而南部我只是去過芝加哥大學， :handshake
至少那裹的校舍不見有甚麼子彈孔。

非也。
這六個分別是 City Loop 內 Quincy 站其中一邊月台橙線、綠線、啡線、紫線、粉紅線的終點站
沒錯，一邊月台->一條路軌供五條同時使用。 :time:
