UC Davis已經購入兩部美製E500

根據上面份文件
ADL喺美國既廠房就黎投入服務
第一批生產既美製E500會屬於UCD既Shuttle
不過文件內好似冇提及到幾時會製造好同去UCD投入服務

估唔到UCD都會買E500
仲要係兩部
不過家下UCD Shuttle由學生駕駛既
唔知批新車投入服務後仲會唔會係由學生負責渣呢？

嘩，Davis真係好，反而Berkeley呢邊堆shuttle仲係用緊堆超舊的Orion。

不過反而有興趣想知道，呢兩架E500會唔會行Davis - Berkeley shuttle，因為而家呢條線用果堆MCI D4500CT都幾殘下。
（不過就算換，我應該都無機會搭，因為下個月就走）

I think they are used to replaced the old double decker buses that Unitrans is having. Those double deckers only run in the Davis and only operate during regular academic section

I'm a bit more interested in how ADL gives EGR option to UK Decker market...
They offered a MAN D0836 on E400 chassis and Stagecoach order 20 of them...

岩岩睇過wiki的資料，Davis係咪真係仲有幾架五十年以上車齡的AEC Regent III行緊？
（我晌呢邊住左咁耐，都未有時間北上去Davis行番轉，所以唔係太清楚）

wiki的資料同時提到果兩架E500會晌2009年尾之前投入服務。（話時話，Davis點解會有
錢買新車架？乜唔係話州政府向成個UC閂水喉，搞到間間分校budget要狂減至少兩成咩？
買新車照計又唔係屬於咩stimulus package的一部分）

另外，上面#1我提供的資料有錯，Berkeley行緊的是Gillig Phantom而唔係Orion，一共有
五架長陣同四架短陣，車齡唔係太清楚，只係聽聞批車2000年果陣翻新過。

ADL都係開拓一下美加市場好 ,
有感英國本土及香港市場前景都不是太好 ,
歐洲其他國家又唔到佢做 ,
佢同五州龍合作遲早畀人學埋d技術又改埋d鬼五馬六的車 ,
影衰晒 ,
最好就開埋澳州市場

Yes. They are still running, but you won't see them in service until fall quarter begins. I heard that one of the AECs has been converted from diesel powered into CNG powered. I hope i can go there and try them out later this year. Unfortunately, when my quarter ends, the quarter in UCD also ends

其實呢兩架E500會唔會係代替AEC既代替品呢？

我都好有興趣到底呢批E500係配直梯定曲梯呢

睇嚟我都要揾日揸車上去
