[GB] 告別 West Midlands Metrobus

還有三個星期, National Express West Midlands 就會把僅存的四部 Metrobus 退役. 這款被稱為 "中西部的 Routemaster" 的後置引擎巴士, 自 1978 年服役起就一直成為中西交通部 (West Midlands PTE) 及其後繼者的主力. 高峰期時,  WMT 共有達 1,130 部 Metrobus 行走.

為紀念這一個英國巴士界的歷史性時刻, 本文將由即日起至本月尾置頂, 以供各位貼相致意. 請留意, 本文只接受在/曾在 West Midlands 服役的 Metrobus (包括獲博物館或私人保留的前 West Midlands 巴士) 的相片. 如不清楚, 請查明有關巴士是否擁有以下列出的車牌:

Just an update: there are only 3 NXWM Metrobuses in passenger service now.
2835 (B835 AOP) has already withdrawn about a week ago.

3053 will be attending the National Express West Midlands Last MCW Metrobus day at Acocks Green on the 24th July. 3053 will be leaving Fairfax Street bus stop at 0830.
Anyone wish to have a chance to ride on 3053 are more than welcome.
