I do have favor to ask here. Say if I come up in late Feb or President day weekend. (Sun-Mon) what's the odd I can get some photos on D40i and new double deckers? Thanks for you help.

it is still hard to say if u can get E500s in late Feb so far
because Community Transit doesn't say when those E500s will be put into service
For D40i, yup, u can. As long as u stand in Downtown Seattle during peak hour, u will get as many D40i as u want

Just for fun, I sent an email to CT as a "curious commuter", and inquired about the "Double Tall Buses" (Enviro 500). This is the response I received from a maintenance officer from CT:

"We finally received all 23 of the Double Deckers a couple of weeks ago. There were several delays in the building of the buses which delayed the arrival here.  Maintenance is now working with the manufacturer to ready the buses for service. We inspect, repair and install Smart Card equipment before they go into service. Hopefully in January a few of them will go into service."

Hopefully this is the case! I feel lucky to live in Vancouver.........whenever I start missing Hong Kong, I always have two options to fix my problem: go to Victoria to ride Dennis Trident (DM) / E500 / E500H or go to Seattle to ride Enviro 500

Maybe we should plan a little transit-fan gathering in Seattle sometime this summer? That would make a fun little trip!
