Hong Kong - Beijing
March 11, 2007

Following Cathay Pacific's acquisition of Dragonair, I was hoping to boost my mileage by flying Cathay Pacific to Beijing but on Dragonair aircraft. However, at this point, I couldn't accumulate oneWorld mileage on Dragonair yet.









The appetizer tasted quite good.



The main course wasn't so delightful though. The scallops didn't taste too well.



But it was more than compensated by the ice cream.





Lots of paperwork to fill out to enter China.









Picking up a newspaper to read about the heat island effect in Hong Kong.



































































New construction!





Welcome to Beijing.













Service is still a notch below Cathay Pacific's business class. However, there wasn't anything particularly bad about the 3-hour flight. It's always hard to see the ground with so much smog below. At least the skies looked blue from the ground.

今次樓主坐班機好似係冇 PTV (如果我冇睇錯) ~~~
可能樓主坐左 KA o既 A330 (Type 1)

我的 FD 近來經常到合灣工作
也是坐 KA (應該係坐 A330 Type 2)
而 Type 2 係每個座位都設有 PTV
佢經常都話 KA 服務好好 , CI , BR , CX 都比唔上咁話 ~~~

北京線因頭等需求高,故少用33A/33L
(30J/270Y,42J/273Y,各座位均有PTV)
而多用33R
(12F/42J/230Y,只有頭等有PTV)
